“Work with veterans” is an integral part of the large-scale project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs called “Safe Environment”, implemented within the framework of the Ukrainian doctrine announced by the President of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is the second largest number of veterans and combatants after the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Therefore, it is extremely important to improve the process of rehabilitation, socialization of our defenders with the possibility of their further training and employment.
Areas of activity within the project:
- Social support of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system injured in hostilities and their family members.
- Ensuring interaction of all levels for the realization of individual rights.
- Providing the necessary medical care and ensuring proper rehabilitation.
- Providing psychological assistance and ensuring resocialization.
- Provision of prosthetics.
- Proper information about rights, benefits and guarantees.
- Provision of stipulated payments.
- Youth and children's cultural and patriotic development of children.
- Promotion of employment.
- Monitoring and analysis of the results of activities.
It is important that all citizens show their support and solidarity and participate in the adaptation of our veterans to peaceful life in Ukrainian society.
