Working trip to Lviv region: Igor Klymenko visited rescuers
Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko visited Lviv on a working visit. He talked to the rescuers. They receive daily calls from citizens from all over the region and direct fire and rescue calculations to emergency sites.
Dispatchers work with an automated system that allows you to see live the location and number of specialized cars, as well as raise an alarm in a matter of seconds one or another unit.
Rescuers regularly work out evacuation and firefighting schemes for important civilian infrastructure - educational, cultural and religious institutions, shopping centers.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs pays special attention to voluntary fire teams in remote settlements. 51 such teams are now functioning in Lviv region. Volunteers on a par with lifeguards are involved in training and garrison exercises, and their work greatly speeds up response to challenges.
The work of the units of the State Emergency Service is an important component of the security projects that we are already implementing throughout Ukraine.
