Rescuers urge citizens to observe fire safety rules in everyday life
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine once again urges citizens to take care of the proper fire condition of their own homes and observe the rules of fire safety in everyday life, because it is always better to prevent a threat than to deal with its consequences.
So, on the night of October 30, in the village of Mala Lyubasha, Rivne district, Malolyubashan territorial community, there was a fire in a residential building.
Rescuers of the 19th State Fire and Rescue Department of Rivne City Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and firefighters of the local fire brigade of the village of Mala Lyubasha went to the scene.
The fire occurred in a residential building with an area of 42 square meters. By the time the rescuers arrived, the building was completely engulfed in fire. Fire extinguishing agents were immediately administered to eliminate the fire.

Another case happened in the Nikolaev area. At 01:39 a message was received on the 101 special line that a residential building was on fire in the village of Bereznehuvate of the Bereznehuvate territorial community of the Bashtansky district.
Upon arrival at the place of the next patrol of the 9th state fire and rescue unit, it became known that there was a man in the dwelling. This was reported by his brother, who was also in the house at the time of the fire and went out to the fresh yard himself, while getting burns on both hands.

Firefighters handed over to the ambulance brigade. The fire was localized at 02:22 on an area of 20 sq. m. Due to heavy cluttering and prolonged smoldering, it is completely eliminated at 06:10. The previous cause of the fire is carelessness during smoking.
From the State Emergency Service, seven firefighters worked on the scene, two special vehicles were involved.
In addition, at 17:02 the Odessa City Rescue Service received a report of a fire on Sofievskaya Street. Arriving at the scene, rescuers established that the fire had occurred on the ground floor of a 3-storey residential building.
Firefighters rescued 2 people, and another 3 people and 3 cats were evacuated. Due to the significant fire load and smokiness, the units worked in respiratory and vision protection devices.
Thanks to the prompt and coordinated actions of rescuers, it was possible to prevent the spread of fire to nearby apartments. At 17:30 the fire was localized and at 17:33 it was eliminated on an area of 20 m2. The cause of the fire and damage are established. 8 units of equipment and 28 firefighters were involved from the SNS.
With a decrease in temperature indicators, the occurrence of fires in the housing sector increases. Neglecting elementary rules, people often themselves become the culprits of fires.
Therefore, rescuers once again emphasize that in order to prevent the occurrence of fires in everyday life, the following rules must be observed:
- do not smoke in bed;
- monitor the condition and serviceability of the power grid;
- in case of leaving the premises, do not leave televisions, irons, heaters, etc. on;
