Rescuers of Kharkiv region 20 times a day were involved in the elimination of emergencies
During the day from July 16 to July 17, 2023, rescuers of the Kharkiv garrison of the SNSS continued to perform their duties in wartime conditions.
During this period, 20 operational departures were made, of which:
- 8 — to eliminate fires, 1 of which arose as a result of rocket fire;
- 2 — for inspection after enemy fire;
- 7 — to provide assistance to the population;
- 3 — other departures.
During the day of July 16, the rescuers of the State Emergency Service eliminated the consequences of enemy missile strikes in the Osnovyansk district of Kharkiv.
Also at 18:15 rescuers of Kupyansk conducted a survey of the enemy-hit territory of the village. Blagodativka. As a result of the shelling, a car and a private house were damaged. There are no casualties or casualties.
The pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service removed and neutralized 35 units of explosive objects during the day.
On July 16, at 09:55 in a field on the outskirts of the village Andriivka of Donetsk community of Izyum district, a tractor of one of the local farms was blown up on an enemy anti-tank mine. The tractor driver was injured. He was admitted to a hospital in the city. Balakliya. The incident occurred during agricultural work.
Within 24 hours, the bodies of 3 dead people were found in the reservoirs of Kharkiv region.
At 10:00 the number “101” received a message from the crew of the Patrol Police that a drowner was found in an artificial reservoir in the village of Bezlyudivka, Kharkiv district. His body was accidentally found by vacationers at a distance of 10-15 m from the shore. Rescuers pulled the body of the deceased from the water and handed it over to law enforcement.
Also, one case of drowning occurred in the village. Donets of Slobozhanska hromada and s. Protopopovka of the Balakliya community. The units of the State Emergency Service in these cases were not involved. The circumstances are clarified by law enforcement officers.
