Rescuers of Toretsk garrison provided evacuation of residents and fire safety during destruction of FAB-500 (VIDEO)
The other day, the Russians once again launched an air strike on Toretsk. As a result, the air bomb fell in the middle of the street of a residential quarter of the city and did not break.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
Rescuers who went to the scene determined that the explosive shell was a FAB-500 aerial bomb.
Due to the fact that underground work was carried out on the spot, rescuers of the Toretsk garrison together with the National Police officers provided fire safety and evacuation of residents of nearby houses that are located in the area of possible damage.
The aerial bomb was destroyed on the spot by detonation.
14 rescuers and 4 units of equipment were involved from the Main Directorate.
In total, during the last day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 162 times, 477 explosive objects were detected, seized and neutralized, and an area of 499 hectares was surveyed.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: 23 thousand in the Kharkiv region. 442, Kyiv region — 8 thousand 937, Donetsk region — 8 thousand 356, Mykolaiv region — 6 thousand 163, Kherson region — 8 thousand 087, Chernihiv region — 5 thousand 001, Sumy region — 2 thousand 571, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 324.
Since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 439 thousand 497 explosive items and 2 thousand 892 kg of explosives have been defused, including 3 thousand 102 aircraft bombs. The area of more than 101 thousand 156 hectares was surveyed.
