Rescuers eliminate the effects of flooding in Cherkasy region

Due to the spring waterfall, in the Cherkasy region there is flooding of streets, agricultural lands, farms in a number of riverine settlements of Cherkasy and Zolotonisky districts.
Thus, during the past day, rescuers evacuated three adults, one child and five pets in the village of Khreshchatyk. According to the decision of local authorities, people who decided to stay at home — rescuers brought drinking water, food and medicines.
Currently, the General Directorate is constantly monitoring the situation with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles.
There are 8 mobile operational groups in Cherkasy and Zolotonisky districts. 12 units of equipment and 22 rescuers were recruited from the Main Directorate.
