Emergency rescue workers continue to eliminate the consequences of flooding in the Nikolaev area
As of the morning of June 18, 18 settlements in the Bashtansky district were partially flooded.
Only 832 people remain evacuated, including 165 children (a total of 990 people, 167 children, among them, have been evacuated to safety since the beginning of the catastrophic flooding. The units of the State Emergency Service with the help of boats evacuated 154 people, including 7 children).
On June 17, the units of the State Emergency Service (38 people and 11 units of equipment) carried out water pumping work in 9 settlements (p. Hrechanivka, s. Novosofiivka, s. Mykhailivka, s. Afanasivka, s. Yuriivka, s. Novovasylivka, s. Galahanivka, s. Yelizavetovka and s. Vesely Corner), 426 cubic meters of water were pumped out from the territory of 21 households (cellars - 10, wells - 13, courtyards - 2).
Since the beginning of the work, 2 thousand 216 cubic meters of water have been pumped from 130 households (cellars - 71, wells - 69, courtyards - 12).
To s. Afanasivka and s. Novovasylivka together with volunteers since the beginning of the work has delivered humanitarian aid in the form of 18 tons of drinking water and 38 tons of other cargo.
