Rehabilitation of wounded soldiers in medical institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is based on an individual approach
First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhenii Yenin visited the wounded soldiers. During a visit to the rehabilitation department in Zhytomyr region, he presented awards to the wounded, thanked for their service and checked the conditions of their treatment.
“We saw that our fighters are actively recovering, that our fighting spirit is not shaken and that we are all going to victory as soon as possible. And this is facilitated by doctors, psychologists, and colleagues, and colleagues. Of course, the attention of relatives and relatives is important, so everyone is very honored and grateful,” said the First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yevhenii Yenin.
In medical institutions of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, assistance is provided to all those involved in hostilities and the elimination of their consequences. Rehabilitation of wounded soldiers is under constant control by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, so they periodically check how the process of recovery of defenders is going, whether they are satisfied with the conditions, what is their mood and plans for the future.
“We also learn many things, not all of us also have different techniques, but the war has shown that everyone must take into account the peculiarities of conducting these hostilities and learn. Therefore, the departmental system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is fully integrated into the nationwide medical space to perform functions in full,” said Anatoly Smyk, Director of the Department of Health and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The course of treatment changes the course of rehabilitation. Depending on the injury suffered by the patient, this process will last 14—18 days. Each of the fighters has a personal approach, a separate program and an individual schedule of procedures. Each case requires an individual approach and therefore, depending on this, doctors look for different ways to help the patient.
