Russian missile attack on Pokrovsk: 7 people killed, 81 more injured
There are currently 39 injured civilians, including two children born in 2006 and 2012. In addition, police and emergency services personnel were injured. The rescue operation continues.
Yesterday at 19:15 Russian troops struck an Iskander on a residential area in the city center. During the search and rescue work, a second rocket attack took place.
The shelling damaged 12 multi-storey buildings, 2 catering establishments, 2 shops, an administrative building, a pharmacy, a hotel, official and civilian cars.
Explosives, investigators, forensics, operatives, paramedics work at the scene of the tragedy. Police officers take statements, record the destruction, help the victims and their relatives.
According to the materials collected by the police, a pre-trial investigation was launched, the legal qualification of a war crime of the Russian Federation — violation of the laws and customs of war (Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
