Psychologists and officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in the Third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen
Twenty-eight first ladies and gentlemen in a mixed format took part in the Third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, founded by the wife of the President of Ukraine, Elena Zelenska. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also participated.
“This event is not only about the soft power of diplomacy, but also about achieving more global goals. The goal of this year's summit was to promote the mental health of the population. It was around this topic that dozens of the first persons of foreign states gathered in Kyiv,” said Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ekaterina Pavlichenko.
“For a long time now, for all conscious people — at least in the free world — the axiom has been that human life is important. It is time to make an axiom both what is important and its quality. Mental health is the basis of this quality. It is impossible to call a quality life in constant anxiety, fear, uncertainty,” said Elena Zelenska.
The summit consisted of three panels: “Mental Health: A Balance of Resilience and Fragility”, “The Impact of War on Mental Health”, “The Generation That Will Rule the World in 15 Years”.
This year, one of the results of the meeting was the establishment of a medical partnership network between the countries. Also during the Summit, for the first time in its history, there was an additional location Mental Stage.
As Elena Zelenska said: “Our psyche, its endurance in trials, from wars to natural disasters, from epidemics to economic crises, is the basis of our personality and physical health. In the end, it is the basis of our lives.”
