SNSS psychologists help citizens in crisis situations
It is right to experience grief, to feel support and understanding — all this is needed by people who find themselves at the epicenter of an extraordinary event.
While rescuers release the injured from under the rubble of destroyed buildings or rescue from the fire, the work of the SNSS psychologists is aimed precisely at saving the moral state of a person in a crisis situation.
Therefore, the psychologists of the State Emergency Service are constantly involved in providing psychological assistance to people who have suffered as a result of the invasion by the Russian Federation.
In particular, after a massive rocket attack on Odessa on the night of July 23, when residential neighborhoods of the city were hit, the State Emergency Service engaged psychologists to work with people and deployed tents to provide psychological assistance, where all the necessary support could be obtained.
As of the morning of July 24, 247 people used the services of SNSS psychologists.
In total, since the beginning of a full-scale war, 223 thousand 133 people have received psychological assistance.
