Sold drugs through Telegram channel: Kyiv operatives detained drug dealer
The attacker sent drugs and psychotropics to clients by various taxi services. During the investigation, the police seized marijuana, hashish, amphetamine and hallucinogenic mushrooms from the defendant. The cost of seized drugs at the prices of the “black” market is about 200 thousand hryvnias.
During the processing of operational information, employees of the criminal police department of the Darnitsky department detained the man for selling drugs. The offender was a 34-year-old local resident.
Law enforcement officers established that the defendant accepted orders through a telegram channel, and sold drugs through taxi services. The online store had a large assortment of drugs and psychotropic substances.
During an authorized search of the suspect's residence, police officers seized computer equipment, 500 grams of marijuana, amphetamine, as well as hashish and hallucinogenic mushrooms that were stored in the refrigerator. Material evidence is directed to expert research. The cost of seized drugs at the prices of the “black” market is about 200 thousand hryvnias.
Investigators of the Darnitsky Police Department detained the drug dealer in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and under the procedural guidance of the Darnytsky District Prosecutor's Office, he was informed of the suspicion of committing an offense provided for in Part 2 of Art. 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues. The defendant faces from six to ten years in prison with confiscation of property.
Currently, the court chooses a preventive measure for the suspect, and the police carry out a complex of operational-search measures aimed at establishing a channel for the supply of drugs and other persons involved in the distribution of drugs in the capital.
