Law enforcement officers of the Odessa region exposed contractors who appropriated almost 3.8 million hryvnias for the restoration of critical infrastructure. An agreement was signed between the state-owned energy company and two private firms on the provision of services in the field of restoration of critical infrastructure of the energy industry.

Two contractors had to dismantle the power station and electrical equipment from their location and carry out transportation for their installation in another place in Odesa region.

Offenders face imprisonment for up to 12 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years and confiscation of property. Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention for them is being resolved.
