Dedicated to border guards of the south: service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Odessa region joined the redemption of a new collection of stamps
Ukrposhta introduced new patriotic stamps for the Day of Remembrance of Defenders of Ukraine. Employees of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Odessa region took part in the special payment.
Stamps “The Unconquered South” and “Old Town of Odessa — Duke in Bags” are dedicated to Ukrainian border defenders and were created by Odessa photographer Boris Bukhman. According to him, the stamps are dedicated to the border guards of the south. It was they who, from the first days of the war - and not only from February 24, but also from 2014, were the first to enter into battle with the enemy on the state border. They are real heroes who perform hundreds of combat missions.
The postcards depict images of the guards of the south of Ukraine, which embody the courage and indestructibility of the Ukrainian army in the struggle for independence. Stamps can be purchased with the postal set: envelope and cards. The funds received from the sale will go to the assistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
With the beginning of the war, patriotic stamps began to represent the resilience and unbreakable spirit of Ukrainians. Collectible postcards have also become a symbol of the struggle against the Russian invaders and help to bring the day of victory closer.
