Border guards stopped a rubber boat with evaders
The military department of the “Forks” of the Mukachevo detachment guard the river section of the border with the help of the boat “Tuna”. It is there that they record the most attempts to illegally cross the border.
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the bodies of 14 shippers were recovered at the site of responsibility of the Mukacheve border detachment from the river Tisa, which runs along the border with Romania and Hungary, the bodies of 14 drowners, the body of the 15th has not yet been found.
Last night, while patrolling the Ukrainian-Hungarian section of the border, the border outfit of the “Vlok” department saw a rubber boat in the river with two people in it. The men moved in the direction of Hungary. With the help of their watercraft, the servicemen stopped the border violators and brought them ashore.
One of the detainees arrived at the border from Volyn, the other from Tyachiv district of Transcarpathia.
Regarding the detainees, protocols have been drawn up on their commission of administrative offenses, provided for in Art. 204-1 KUPAP “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”, the cases are referred to the court.
Operational officers of the State Border Guard Service identify persons involved in the organization of illegal transportation of military persons across the border. In total, since the beginning of the week, the border guards of the Mukachevo detachment detained 20 border violators.
