Border guards detained Uclonists who tried to leave with fake military documents abroad

In Transcarpathia, border guards of the Mukachevo detachment found three Ukrainian citizens of conscription age who tried to leave for Hungary on forged documents.

Two Kharkiv residents and a Kyiv resident chose Luzhanka checkpoint to cross the border. During border control, all three provided temporary military ID cards to check documents other than passports.

In the certificates, the inspector found signs of forgery. In addition, all three certificates, which were allegedly issued by different district territorial staffing centers of Kiev and Kharkov, were filled in the same handwriting.

The men admitted that each of them paid 3 thousand US dollars for forged certificates.

The fraudsters were refused to cross the border, and the presence of signs of a crime in their actions provided for in Art. 358 Criminal Code “Forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps” border guards sent a message to the National Police in the Transcarpathian region.

Currently, law enforcement officers establish the circle of persons involved in this offense.

For further legal decision making, offenders were handed over to police officers.
