Border guards detained five border violators in Transcarpathia
During the special operation “West-2023”, the border guards of the Mukachevo detachment detained five men of conscription age over the past day who tried to cross the border illegally.
Three offenders were detained by the border outfits of the border service department “Dilove”. Men came to Transcarpathia from different regions of the country. A resident of Odessa region was stopped in the mountains, and his “like-minded people” from Dnipropetrovsk region and Ivano-Frankivsk region, who planned to cross the Tysa - at control posts at the entrance to the border. All three tried to get to Romania.
Two more deputies from Transcarpathia and Kharkiv region were detained at the border with Hungary by the border outfits of Luzhanka and Kosino departments.
To establish the circle of persons likely involved in the transportation of conscripted men across the border and to clarify all the circumstances of the offense, the offenders were taken to the border unit.
