Border guards detained evader and his “client”
The other day, employees of the department of internal and own security at the Chopsky border detachment detained the organizer of the transfer of persons across the state border.
47-year-old Ukrainian, a resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region, intended to send a group of compatriots to Slovakia for a monetary reward.
The offender was detained in the course of the sale of materials of criminal proceedings on the grounds of the offense provided for in Part 3 of Art. 369 Criminal Code of Ukraine, in the village of Stuzhytsya, Uzhgorod district, during the transfer of illegal benefits in the amount of 2000 euros to a soldier of the Chopsky detachment. For these funds, the border guard was to provide the dispatcher with information about the placement of border outfits on the state border.
The events were held jointly with the employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations and the Investigative Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region, under the procedural guidance of the Transcarpathian Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Western region.
