Border guards detained 70 state border violators in a week (VIDEO)
During the day, August 24, 100,000 people and 21,000 vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova in the Chernivtsi region.
Last day 54 thousand people left Ukraine, 33 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland. Over the past day, 46 thousand people followed Ukraine, 42 thousand of them are citizens of Ukraine. 104 trucks with humanitarian aid were issued.
During the week, border guards of the Mukachevo detachment stopped 39 attempts to violate the border, detained almost 70 people. Outside the checkpoints 64 people tried to cross the border, another four tried to leave Ukraine with fake documents.
Two men who tried to secretly pass by the border guards control post were discovered by the soldiers of the “Velyky Bychkiv” detachment of the Mukachevo detachment in Transcarpathia.
During the inspection of the bus, which was followed by a group of tourists on the route “Zhytomyr - Solotvyno”, the border guard found two men in one of the compartments for things: a 35-year-old resident of Odessa and a 43-year-old Kiev resident. They explained the attempt to hide from the border guards by fatigue and the desire to lie down. Both were detained and later found out that the purpose of their arrival in Transcarpathia was to try to cross the border illegally.
Currently, law enforcement officers establish the involvement of the bus driver in the illegal activities, since his actions see signs of a crime stipulated by Article 332 of the Criminal Code.
