Border guards with mortars stopped the attack of the occupiers in Bakhmut
Units of the State Border Guard Service, as part of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, continue to oppose attempts by the Russian occupation forces to capture Bakhmut.
Yesterday, April 26, in the Bakhmut direction, a mortar calculation of the border unit neutralized a group of enemy infantry. Operators of the UAV detected the movement of enemy forces in suburban buildings.
The rifle division of the Russian army for the attack moved towards the positions of the Ukrainian defenders. To defeat the enemy, the fire task was given to the border guards and mortars.
Artillery mines from our defenders hit near the invaders, who tried to run to the destroyed building. The mortar shelling of the infantry “scattered”, the enemy lost an estimated 5 people: 2 invaders destroyed, 3 more wounded.
