Border guards found a foreigner who tried to transport drugs across the Ukrainian-Polish border
Yesterday, July 3, during the registration of the scheduled bus, which was going to Warsaw through the checkpoint “Yagodin”, a service dog of the border guards reacted to the belongings of one of the passengers.
After checking an empty suitcase, the inspection team found third-party attachments in it. Under the inner shell was a bundle of marijuana. In another suitcase, the inspectors found three more packages and a plastic jar with a powdery and crystalline substance of white color. Their Latvian diligently stuck to the wall of the suitcase on double-sided tape.
The border guards informed the officers of the National Police about the findings and sent a message about the detection of signs of a criminal offense, provided for in Art. 309 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The found substances were seized in accordance with the established procedure by law enforcement officers to conduct appropriate examinations.
