The priest of the church, previously recognized as belonging to the Moscow Patriarchate, was stopped for inspection by border guards at the entrance to the capital the other day.
During the verification of information in databases and open sources, it turned out that a native of Zhytomyr region, born in 1974, until recently was the rector of one of the churches of the so-called UOC MP on the territory of the Kiev region. There is also information about his possible involvement in the subversive activities of the aggressor country on the territory of Ukraine.
In his mobile phone, border guards found numbers of Russian operators, literature of Russian origin and gratitude from the head of the Tver metropolis of the Russian Federation dated 2023.
