The border guards of the Mukachevo detachment detained the next evaders
The other day, in Transcarpathia, employees of the Mukachevo border detachment, together with employees of the Migration Police and investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Transcarpathian region, exposed a citizen of Ukraine who was transporting men in military service abroad.
The detainee turned out to be a 33-year-old resident of the village of Bogdan.
The attacker was detained while he received an illegal monetary reward of $3,500 from his “client”, whom he planned to send to neighboring Romania.
In the framework of criminal proceedings, the organizer of the criminal scheme was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He was declared a suspect under Part 3 of Art. 332 (illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Investigative actions to establish all the circumstances of the offense and bring all its defendants to justice continue.
If a Transcarpathian is proved guilty in court, he faces punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of seven to nine years.
But at the checkpoint “Fork” border guards of the Mukachevo detachment found a man with a fake document. During the verification of documents from a 33-year-old resident of Rakhiv region, the border control inspector found signs of forgery in one of the three birth certificates of children provided by Transcarpathians.
During the interrogation, the man admitted that for 1000 US dollars, a fake document was made and sent to him by merchants that he found on one of the social networks.
Border guards sent a message to the National Police about the presence in the actions of the Ukrainian of signs of a crime stipulated by Article 358 of the Criminal Code “Counterfeiting documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps”.
The legislation of Ukraine for the use of a knowingly forged document provides for liability in the form of a fine of up to fifty taxable minimum incomes of citizens or arrest for up to six months, or restriction of liberty for up to two years.
In total, 37 thousand people left Ukraine during the last day. 23 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
Over the past day, 42 thousand people followed Ukraine, 38 thousand of them are citizens of Ukraine.
26 people were detained for attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine — all of them tried to illegally cross the border outside the checkpoints.
