Border guards from Snake Island received awards
Serdyuk, Deputy Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serdyuk, who directly participated in the special operation to liberate the island of Zmiiny, presented the awards to the servicemen of the Izmail and Mariupol detachments of the Maritime Guard, who directly participated in the special operation to liberate the island of Zmiiny.
The operation to liberate the most important strategic object of the Odessa region and the Black Sea operational zone was carried out by the operational-strategic grouping of troops “Alexandria” for several months. In close cooperation with various kinds of troops and services, the maritime border guards made a significant contribution to the fact that in the future there was a positive result and achievement of the goal.
The border guards Nazariy, Denis, Ivan and Roman, despite the constant threat of enemy fire, were able to provide artillery actions of 35 separate Marine Brigade.
Nazariy is the “eyes of the special operation”, with the beginning of a full-scale invasion, he had the opportunity and received training in the direction of the operator of unmanned aerial vehicles. With the help of his “bird”, as he calls the copter, Nazarius was able to track the movement of enemy equipment on the approaches to the Ukrainian coast.
Roman, having experience in the anti-terrorist operation and the operation of the Joint Forces, which he had to deal with in Mariupol, was directed to reinforce the crews of the Danube. Even today, not all the details of those hot events can be discovered. But he provided a worthy participation in the general cause.
Denis and Ivan are maritime border guards with many years of experience as commanders of naval combat and special units. Each of them skillfully guided boats and crews, which allowed other units to provide fire damage to the enemy on the approaches to the mouth of the Danube River and the island of Zmiiny.
For courage, courage, selfless actions during a special operation directly on the state border of Ukraine, seafarers, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine and the order of the Head of the State Border Service, were awarded medals “For Military Service” and “Defender of the Fatherland”.
The struggle for Ukrainian land, water and sky continues. We are reconquering our legal territories and the battle for the island of Zmiiny, this is another victory of Ukraine over the Russian horde. This is how the Ukrainians hinted to the aggressor that, having conquered the island, they are ready to repel the peninsula - Crimea. So the occupiers have no choice: either to surrender to captivity, or to pack things and flee the world before their eyes until they themselves are “packed”.
