Border guard Oleksandr Khyzhnyak won the international boxing tournament “Memorial Istvan Bochkaya 2023”
As part of the national team of Ukraine, Oleksandr Khyzhnyak fought in the weight category up to 80 kg and won a convincing victory.
The first fight of Alexander against the Swiss Manuel Rotondo brought the Ukrainian victory after the second round. Khyzhniak next defeated Lithuanian Robertas Lioranzas. The unanimous decision of the judges — victory for Oleksandr. Then there were fights with boxers from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. In the final, the Ukrainian boxer defeated another representative of Uzbekistan Turabek Khabibullaev.
We congratulate Oleksandr on climbing another pedestal and express our gratitude to the coach Oleksandr Khyzhnyaku Sr. (father of the boxer), who works tirelessly to prepare a worthy son of the Ukrainian people.
