President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a coordination meeting on the situation in Zhytomyr region
Within the framework of the working trip of the Head of State to Zhytomyr region, a coordination meeting was held on security, socio-economic and socio-political situation in the region, which was attended by the heads of security and defense forces and law enforcement agencies.
In particular, the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration Vitaly Bunechko informed Volodymyr Zelensky about the socio-economic situation in the region.
In addition, the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhiy Deineko reported to the President and the participants of the meeting on comprehensive measures to strengthen the state border within the Zhytomyr region, the arrangement of fortification and defense engineering structures.
At the meeting, they heard information about the state of readiness of the Troo units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to provide defense of the state border on the territory of Zhytomyr region.
Also, the regional leadership of the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police reported on the operational and criminogenic situation in the territory of Zhytomyr region.
