President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the employees of the bodies and units of the systems of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for the protection of citizens
This was stated by the head of state in an evening video address to the citizens of Ukraine at the end of the fourteenth day of the war.
The President stressed that without the conscientious work of the SNS and the police, it is not possible to imagine a normal life at the moment:
“I thank everyone who chose this very path of direct assistance to people right now. Without the conscientious work of the SNS and the police, it is simply impossible to imagine a normal life, not to save many people. This, in fact, is what constitutes the essence of their work — direct assistance to people.”
Also, Volodymyr Zelensky in the evening address noted the police crews of the “White Angel”, who rescue people in the Donetsk region, carry out evacuations, deliver humanitarian aid. In particular, the President of Ukraine expressed gratitude to police officers Gennady Yudin and Vasily Pipa for saving hundreds of people.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelensky has high hopes that graduates of educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will live up to human hopes. They will also work in areas where it is most dangerous. The essence of their work is direct assistance to people.
