The President of Ukraine held a meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs

President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky, who returned from Vinnitsa.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported to the Head of State about the consequences of rocket attacks on the city by the Russian army.

As a result of the criminal actions of the aggressor in Vinnitsa, 23 people died, including three children. 197 victims appealed to health institutions. 4 people remain on the lookout as missing.

Denis Monastyrsky also reported to the President about the shelling of Nikolaev, where two people were injured as a result of four attacks on the educational building of the pedagogical university. Four more hits were recorded in the seven-story building of the National University of Shipbuilding.

“Russia behaves like a terrorist state, shooting at civilians. We will do everything to find and punish those who give criminal orders and those who carry them out,” Volodymyr Zelensky stressed.

The President and the Minister of Interior discussed security issues, including the introduction of 112 as a single system of assistance to citizens, the introduction of a system of biometric identification and verification by fingerprints and facial recognition, which should ensure the earliest possible detection of crimes and the creation of a safe environment for citizens.

Particular attention was paid to the introduction of the Unified Register of Weapons with full functionality, which is able to bring the interaction of citizens and police bodies to a qualitatively new level in the matter of civilized legal circulation of weapons in Ukraine.
