The President of Ukraine thanked the rescuers who were involved in the elimination of the consequences of enemy shelling in Slavyansk
This was stated by Vladimir Zelensky during an evening video address at the end of the fourteenth day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our state.
“In Sloviansk, the search and rescue operation has been completed after the attack of Russian terrorists on residential buildings. I would like to mention our people who, together with colleagues on the ground, did everything possible... Despite the threat of repeated attacks, despite all the difficulties, they did everything possible to save as many lives as possible.
Thank you to Sergeant Yaroslav Pletsky, Senior Sergeant Victor Gergel, Senior Lieutenant Bohdan Gavrilov and Lieutenant Colonel Mikhail Zagnitka, all who participated in this operation. Thank you to everyone and everyone in the large staff of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who works for the sake of the people!”, — said the Head of State.
