The President of Turkey presented the State Award “For the Highest Self-Sacrifice” to Ukraine and Ukrainian Rescuers
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented the State Award “For the Highest Self-Sacrifice” to Ukraine and Ukrainian rescuers for their participation in the search and rescue operation to overcome the effects of a powerful earthquake in Turkey.
Recall that 87 people from the State Emergency Service visited Turkey. Among the rescuers were specialists from the Interregional Rapid Response Center, which is trained in searching and rescuing people, as well as the Mobile Rapid Response Center, which specializes in removing debris.
The decision to attract specialists from Ukraine was made by the Government, the President of the state and it was a good decision. The rescuers showed an extremely high level of professionalism. In the shortest period, literally on the second day after the disaster that occurred, they began to work, deblocking a total of 59 bodies.
For us, there is no other person's grief. Ukrainian rescuers fight for every life of their citizens and are always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need of protection.
