President of the Republic of Latvia met with children of Ukrainian servicemen
Another group of children of soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine was able to relax in a summer camp in the Republic of Latvia. The holiday is organized by the State Fund for Defense and Patriotism “Namejs”.
The program provides many different entertainment activities: active recreation and acquaintance with the culture and historical traditions of the country. The week-long camp is full of emotions, entertainment, events and formal meetings.
In particular, one of the significant events was the meeting with the President of the Republic of Latvia Edgars Rinkevich, which took place in the Riga Palace.
“It is a great honor for me to meet you here today, at a time when your parents are fighting for the freedom, independence and sovereignty of the Ukrainian state. We are all very proud of them! In addition, I am very glad that you here in Riga can look at the peaceful sky for a while. I am sure that very soon Ukraine will win the war that was imposed on it and you will be able to learn in peace and live in peace,” President Edgar Rinkevich said.
