British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, during his visit to Ukraine, saw firsthand the consequences of Russia's terrorist attack on a high-rise building in Kiev. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko reported on his Telegram channel.
In this house, writes the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 700 people lived. As a result of the rocket attack of the occupiers, four people were killed, 50 were injured, hundreds were left without housing.
“Together with Rishi Sunak and Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba, we thanked the rescuers of the State Emergency Service who were the first to arrive at the scene and remove the victims from under the rubble. We also talked with residents who have lost homes and transport, but do not lose confidence in the victory of Ukraine,” said Igor Klymenko.
The Minister stressed that the United Kingdom is our reliable and powerful partner, friend and “the bilateral security agreement signed today is the result of the large-scale efforts of the President of Ukraine and the Office of the Head of State.”
“This is a historic step towards obtaining security guarantees for Ukraine,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko.
