Representation of State Enterprise “Dokument” started issuing passport documents for citizens of Ukraine in Warsaw
How to get passport documents abroad? This issue is relevant for many Ukrainians who are forced to stay outside Ukraine during the war. The government, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the State Migration Service are well aware of this problem. And it was for its resolution on June 10, 2022, that the relevant Government resolution was adopted, which significantly expands the possibilities of issuing passport documents outside Ukraine.
This regulatory act provides that Ukrainians will be able to issue an ID-card and/or a foreign passport in a separate division of the state enterprise “Document” located outside Ukraine - in the citizen service center “Passport Service”.
This is important because the state enterprise “Document” belongs to the sphere of management of the State Migration Service and is the administrator of the Unified State Demographic Register.
In practical terms, the issue of implementation of the Government's decision is resolved in stages.
Currently, work is being completed on the preparation of the Dokument SE center in Warsaw, which is planned to open in August 2022. At the same time, already now Ukrainian citizens who are abroad can submit application forms for registration of passport documents using four software-technical mobile complexes (specially equipped minibuses) located at the site of the future location at: Warszawa, al. Jerozolimskie 179, shopping center “Blue City”.
Mobile complexes work from Monday to Saturday, from 10 am to 7 pm. Visitor service is carried out by prior appointment in an electronic queue. Here, citizens of Ukraine can issue an ID-card, a passport of a citizen of Ukraine to travel abroad and even use the new service for processing both documents at the same time. The list of documents for registration of passport documents is standard - as in those “Passport services” that are located in Ukraine.
In general, the future center of SE “Dokument”, which will open in August, is planned to receive about 500 people per day, all work processes will be carried out using the latest information systems and technologies. It will be possible to obtain administrative services of the State Tax Service of Ukraine both by prior appointment in the electronic queue and without it.
Taking into account the peculiarities of international logistics during the martial law, the deadlines for registration and issuance of passport documents will be up to 45 working days - in normal mode and up to 20 working days - in urgent.
Payment for services on mobile complexes will be carried out on the spot - using the online service. To do this, service recipients need to have a smartphone and bank card details with them (cash payment is currently not available).
