Law enforcement officers detained the FSB agent who brought Russian plane bombs to Sumy region (VIDEO)
In Sumy region, law enforcement officers prevented new attempts by the aggressor to inflict fire damage on the bases of the Defense Forces. As a result of the complex measures taken, the soldiers of the State Border Guard Service in cooperation with the counterintelligence officers of the Security Service detained the FSB agency, which was preparing a series of air strikes on the region, including with the use of guided aerial bombs. She faces life imprisonment.
The main objectives of the enemy were defensive positions of the Armed Forces in a 5-kilometer zone near the state border of Ukraine.
To complete the task, the participant had to track the locations of Ukrainian troops, mark their coordinates on the map and send the corresponding “report” to the occupiers. First of all, it tried to identify support fortifications and establish the location of units of the Defense Forces. To do this, the Russian agent under the guise of an ordinary citizen bypassed the border area and secretly recorded the “necessary” objects on the camera of her own phone.
SBU officers documented the criminal actions of the accused and detained her while she tried to make a new reconnaissance sortie. At the same time, comprehensive measures were carried out to secure the personnel, weapons and ammunition of Ukrainian troops in the region.
According to the investigation, the enemy's henchman turned out to be a local resident, an ideological supporter of racism. After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, she expressed anti-Ukrainian narratives in Russian social networks. In this way, she came into the field of view of the FSB and was subsequently recruited by the enemy secret service.
At first, the traitor spied for the invaders in the border area where she lived. But after his shelling by the Rashists, the woman along with her fellow villagers was evacuated to another settlement in Sumy region. There she applied as a migrant and planned to collect intelligence on the part of the FSB in the future. During the search, the detainee seized mobile phones that she used to communicate with the Russian curator.
At the moment, the investigators of the Security Service have informed her of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under the conditions of martial law). The perpetrator is in custody. She faces life imprisonment.
Operational and investigative measures were carried out by servicemen of the Main Operational and Investigative Department of Sumy Border Detachment and employees of the USBU in Sumy region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
