Law enforcers of Kharkiv region reported suspicion of a resident of Balakliya, who hired “people's police”
In the past, the woman worked in the internal affairs bodies of Ukraine and resigned of her own accord. During the occupation of the city of Balakliya, she voluntarily agreed to assume the position of “Commissioner of the Department for Combating Group Crime”.
The 43-year-old coloborant actually did the job of a personnel officer. She carried out the admission, transfer, dismissal of employees, was engaged in personnel accounting, formed and conducted personal cases of “people's police”.
On August 16, investigators of the police department No. 1 of the Izyum RUP GUNP in Kharkiv region in absentia informed the perpetrators of the suspicion of committing a crime under Part 7 of Art. 111-1 (collaborative activity) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The woman faces imprisonment for up to 15 years.
