Law enforcers exposed perpetrators who recruited women to Turkey
Recruitment transactions for the provision of sexual services were carried out in Kyiv region by two citizens of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers found that for the purpose of personal enrichment, women were selected in the territory of the Kiev region from unreliable and low-income families. Using the vulnerability of the “applicants”, the attackers recruited them and transported them through the international checkpoint for air traffic “Boryspil” to Turkey.
The main operational and investigative department of OKPP “Kyiv” together with representatives of the Department of Migration Police of the GUNP in the Kiev region under the procedural guidance of the Buchan District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv region during the supervision of criminal proceedings and execution of the investigator's orders, documented the criminal scheme of the figure case file and the fact of recruitment.
Yesterday, during the implementation of criminal proceedings, law enforcement officers searched and detained two participants of the case, residents of Boryspil district. Documentation, equipment and other material evidence that are important in criminal proceedings were seized on the spot. In addition, more than three kilograms of the narcotic substance cannabis were found in the residence of the defendants, which was probably being prepared for sale.
Currently, the persons involved in the case have been declared suspected of committing a crime, the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being resolved.
