Law enforcers exposed members of the VLC who put on stream the falsification of certificates of invalidity
The defendants falsified documents about unsuitability for military service. To evade mobilization, customers paid 3000-6000 thousand US dollars. According to these facts, pre-trial investigations are ongoing.
The criminal activity of the two attackers was exposed by law enforcement officers of the Cherkasy region together with the employees of the USBU in the Cherkasy region under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office.
In the city of Zhashkiv, an illegal “business” was established by a 65-year-old doctor who is part of the military-medical commission of one of the territorial centers of staffing and social support in the region. Together with other officers of the VLC, he “helped” citizens of conscription age to obtain conclusions about unsuitability for military service according to a fictitious diagnosis.
A 47-year-old unemployed resident of Smila, having familiar doctors, agreed with them on the registration of fake medical commission conclusions about unsuitability for military service due to health reasons.
Such services of attackers cost from three to six thousand US dollars. The defendants were detained during the receipt of the next tranches and the transfer of fictitious certificates.
Investigators under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's offices declared the perpetrators of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 369-2 (abuse of influence) and Article 332 (illegal transportation of persons across the state border) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation is ongoing.
Malefactors face up to nine years in prison with confiscation of property.
Currently, the police are taking measures to establish all the circumstances of the criminal offense and bring the perpetrators to justice.
