The attacker was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Ammunition is seized and sent for examination.

Every day, police officers take care of the safety and social protection of residents of the city and the region, provide food and basic necessities to de-occupied settlements, help citizens to evacuate from dangerous areas.
The police ensured the evacuation of hospital patients from the frontline village of Strelecha. In three days of evacuation measures, about 600 citizens managed to be removed. Law enforcers delivered patients accompanied by hospital workers to Kharkiv, where they were placed in a medical institution and provided with everything necessary.
Police units resumed their work in the liberated territories. Police officers ensure public security and order in 8 areas of de-occupation: Balakleysky, Kupyansk, Izyum, Zolochiv, Lipetsk, Volchansky, Chuguivsky, Velikoburlutsky.
Work continues on the survey and demining of settlements. Employees of the Explosive Service of the National Police of Ukraine with the beginning of the de-occupation measures surveyed the territory with a total area of about 611.3 hectares. 11865 explosive items were seized, 476 destroyed.
Investigative units of the National Police of Ukraine carry out measures to register war crimes in liberated settlements. In total, 376 war crimes have been registered since the beginning of the de-occupation measures, of which the most under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — 336, according to Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — 34 and others.
