Law enforcers declare Russian actor Mashkov suspected of war propaganda
The People's Artist of the Aggressor Country has repeatedly spoken out in support of the actions of the Kremlin regime and justified Russia's military aggression. In his public speeches and on social networks, the man regularly uses fakes and hostile propaganda.
The illegal activities were documented by employees of the Cyber Police Department together with the Main Investigation Department of the SBU and under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. In particular, the cyberpolice processed Internet sources to collect the evidence base of the defendant's offenses.
The 59-year-old Russian theater and film actor, People's Artist of the Russian Federation has repeatedly spoken out in support of the war in Ukraine, justified the actions of the occupying army, spread fakes and pro-Kremlin narratives.
Also, Vladimir Mashkov gave concerts in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in violation of the order of entry into them.
The defendant was informed in absentia about the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 110 (Invasion of the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine), parts 1, 3 of Art. 436-2 (Propaganda of War), part 1, 2 st. 332-1 (Violation of the procedure for entering and leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The suspect faces five to ten years with or without confiscation of property.
Materials are being prepared for the announcement of the actor in the international wanted list.
