Law enforcers of Kyiv region improve combat training during special exercises
On January 20, in Gostomel, on the territory of the airport “Antonov”, tactical and special exercises were held with the involvement of special officers of the KORD, PPOP, cynological and explosives services of the Kiev region police together with the SBU and the State Emergency Service. Such activities help fighters improve their professional skills and allow them to work out joint actions with other emergency services, as well as to establish interaction in emergency situations.
The purpose of the tactical and special exercises is to check the effectiveness of interdepartmental interaction in the conduct of the Joint Forces, to improve the training of forces and means involved in anti-terrorist activities at a facility with a mass presence of people. In addition, such activities are aimed at improving decision-making algorithms by the leadership, managing subordinate forces and means, organizing interaction and information exchange, coordinated actions of combat order groups.
Participants of the exercises had the opportunity to practically work out scenarios for the development of events of a terrorist nature, to check the effectiveness of the developed documents on the use of forces and means involved in the ATO. During training, idle cartridges and devices were used to simulate explosions.
Such measures are important to prevent sabotage and terrorist attacks on critical infrastructure facilities in the region.
