Cyberspace Security Rules — Cyberpolice Recommendations
In the context of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the issue of security on the Internet is especially relevant, because the enemy attacks on all fronts, in particular — on the virtual one. On Safe Internet Day, we will remind you of the basic rules of cyber hygiene.
To protect online accounts, use complex passwords that contain upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols. Do not set the same password for multiple accounts. Set up two-factor authentication wherever possible. Then, in order to log in to the account, in addition to the login and password, you need to enter the confirmation code that comes to the phone, e-mail or the corresponding application.
Do not follow dubious hyperlinks, because a phishing resource may be hiding behind them. Phishing is used by attackers to obtain valuable data, including bank card data. Carefully look at the URL of the desired site, any inaccuracy may indicate that you are on a phishing resource. Never enter confidential data on suspicious sites.
Take care of the protection of the financial number. Prevent the remote reissue of the SIM card from a mobile operator or switch to contract service. Download apps and apps only from official sources. Use antivirus software. Update the operating system in time.
Make backup copies so you don't lose important information.
