Employees of “Kyivbudrestruction” caused damage to the capital's budget in the amount of UAH 6 million for the reconstruction of dams
Investigators conducted searches in the office premises of “Kyivbudrestruktion”. Employees of the enterprise committed theft of millions of hryvnias from the city budget by concluding an agreement with a contractor for construction work at inflated prices.
Law enforcement officers conducted searches in the office premises of the municipal enterprise “Directorate for Capital Construction and Reconstruction “Kyivbudrestruction”.
It was established that in March 2023, according to the results of the tender, the utility concluded an agreement with the contractor for the design and survey work on the object “Reconstruction of silt field dams No. 1 and No. 2 of the Bortnytsky Aeration Station” at inflated prices. According to the conclusions of the judicial construction and technical examination, the cost of the works was overestimated by more than 6 million hryvnias.
During searches of office premises, law enforcement officers seized originals of documents on the purchase, estimates, acts of work performed and other documents relevant to the investigation. Offenders face imprisonment for up to eight years.
