Fire on the territory of Andreyevsky forestry, in Mykolaiv region - eliminated
As of 07:55 on August 22, the fire in the territory of the Andreevsky forestry was eliminated. Recall, the fire occurred yesterday, August 21, around noon. 120 firefighters and 20 units of special equipment were involved in the extinguishing from the SNS. Foresters (7 units of equipment and 13 workers) worked as well as 20 people of the local population.
According to primary information, the area of the fire was 20 hectares. After monitoring by ATV and aerial reconnaissance by quadcopter, it is determined that the area that is covered by fire is larger. Also, gusty winds contributed to the rapid spread of flames.
Rescuers managed to stop the fire on an area of 40 hectares, in particular to contain the top fire.
Currently, the units of the Main Directorate and forestry continue to shed individual smoldering cells, as well as monitor the situation.
