Fires in ecosystems: more than a thousand firefighters extinguished a dry fire during the day
More than a thousand firefighters and 258 units of equipment were involved in the elimination of fires in ecosystems last day.
Nearly 250 fires on an area of more than 170 hectares of lichen in one day were triggered by hot weather and burning by citizens dry on homestead plots.
In addition, Ukraine is daily attacked by the enemy, resulting in fires and destruction. Rescuers are involved around the clock at the scene of the consequences. But a significant part of the resources of the State Emergency Service is also forced to work on burn sites in open areas.
Rescuers once again appeal to citizens not to provoke fires in ecosystems, not to destroy the environment. Remember - even a small, at first glance, fire can destroy hectares of territories. Do not help the enemy.
