Fires in ecosystems of the South: since the beginning of the week, the State Emergency Service has eliminated fires on a total area of 60 hectares
During the day, more than 20 hectares burned in open areas of Mykolaiv region, almost 10 hectares in Kherson region, and since the beginning of the week in Odessa region 52 fires have destroyed more than 30 hectares of Ukrainian land.
On August 7, units of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Nikolaev area extinguished 25 fires that occurred on the territory of the region. Fires of dry grass, debris, shrubs and crop residues have been recorded in every area of the region. In Bashtansky - 8, Mykolaiv - 5, Pervomaisk - 3, Voznesensky - 4, as well as in the city. Nikolaev — 5 on a total area of more than 20 hectares. Caused arson - careless handling of fire and arson.
Since the beginning of the week, 52 fires have destroyed more than 30 hectares of Ukrainian land in the Odessa region.
The pity is that in most cases, the culprits of such fires are the same people who thoughtlessly neglect safety rules and cause harm not only to the environment, but also to the health and life of citizens.
Last day in Kherson region, 13 fires were recorded in ecosystems, 5 of which were due to shelling.
The total area of extinguishing was more than 9 hectares.
The rescuers demonstrated simply inhuman resilience and heroism, working in such conditions. After all, some fires could not be extinguished immediately due to repeated enemy shelling.
It was only after the end of the attack that the firefighters resumed their work.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine again appeals to all citizens. A huge amount of material and human resources are spent on the elimination of such fires. Rescuers are once again urged to be responsible and careful with fire, especially during the fire danger period.
Let's save nature together!
