Strengthening cooperation in the defence sector: Vasyl Teteria met with the Czech partners

During a business trip to Prague, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine held a working meeting with Aleš Vitečka, the Director of the Intergovernmental Defence Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, AMOS, and representatives of 5 defence companies of the Czech Republic.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and representatives of defence companies of the Czech Republic.

One of the main items on the agenda was the implementation of existing contracts and avenues for concluding new agreements. According to Vasyl Teteria, strengthening the level of cooperation in the defence sector between the Czech partners and the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine constitutes a priority for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The representatives of the Czech Republic's defence industry have visited Ukraine on several occasions. During the previous meeting held in Kyiv, Ihor Klymenko stated that a number of contracts had been signed with the Czech Republic for the supply of rounds. The Czech delegation announced new arms supplies to Ukraine.
