Rescue of people on the water and from fires: rescuers of Dnipropetrovsk and Rivne region underwent special training
Yesterday, October 24, in the Dnieper region, rescuers conducted a tactical and special training to rescue people on the water. We tested the possibilities of overcoming obstacles of the off-road vehicle “Bogun”. These rescue vehicles overcome any obstacles, can move through swampy terrain and swim on water.
The sealed interior does not allow water to get inside. Huge wheels of a snowmobile have such a tread that allows you to use it as a motor boat blade. In the cabin you can place two victims on a stretcher, as well as six personnel.
Also on board this equipment is all the necessary equipment in order to promptly provide assistance to people, in particular, chainsaws, chisel tools, winch, medical equipment, means of communication, navigation, etc.
Such a car can be used to eliminate emergencies and rescue people in extremely difficult conditions, easily overcoming not only water obstacles, but also snow drifts, swampy and mountainous terrain.
Also in Rivne region there were trainings, where instructors of the State Fire Protection of the Republic of Poland conducted training for the units of the State Emergency Service, voluntary and local fire brigades.
Thanks to the training, the participants had the opportunity to improve the skills of pre-medical preparation using the R1 bag, the technology of opening closed doors with the help of an emergency and rescue tool and learned the techniques of safe fire extinguishing in rooms where the reverse thrust effect may occur.
Such training demonstrates the importance of international cooperation in the field of fire safety. The development of common practices and the exchange of experience contributes to raising professional standards and training rescuers to ensure reliable protection in the event of fires and other emergencies. Continuous cooperation in this direction contributes to the improvement of safety and well-being of the population, as well as contributes to the development of voluntary fire traffic on the territory of Ukraine.
