At least 10 enemy shelling a day, no water or light — about 900 residents survive in such conditions. In the city there is a round-the-clock outfit of police officers who respond to all appeals, help people, pick up the dead and injured.

From Chasovy Yar to the front — about 4 km. Especially the neighborhoods close to Bakhmut suffer from Russian bombs.

The head of the Bakhmut regional police department, Artur Marianyan, checked how the law enforcement officers are performing the service and made sure that the residents are provided with all the necessary assistance. Police work closely with the military, regional and city authorities, charitable organizations and volunteers.

The city is autonomous. The island of life among the ruins is the point of invulnerability, which was moved to a new location after three enemy hits on the previous building. In view of the worsening situation, the authorities have prepared several more backup locations.

At the point of invulnerability, more than 130 people daily receive hot lunches, charge gadgets. Doctors conduct the reception of patients and give out medicines. Here one of the residents organized a workshop: repairs flashlights, radios, chargers.

The police remain in the city and do everything possible to save our citizens. However, the situation is unstable, so we urge residents to evacuate to save their lives, - said Artur Marianyan.
