Over 7 million hryvnias: border guards stopped 757 bribery attempts

Since the beginning of the introduction of the legal martial law in Ukraine, border guards have stopped 757 attempts to provide illegal benefits during the passage of persons across the state border.
More than 7 ️ million 700 thousand hryvnias is the total amount of funds of attempted bribery. In all cases, law enforcement officers refused the proposed illegal benefit. After that, the relevant information was carried out by the National Police.
We remind you that the offer, promise or provision of an unlawful benefit to an official, as well as the acceptance of such a promise, offer or receipt of an unlawful benefit by an official is an offense. For this, the law provides for criminal liability.
