More than 5500 appeals and almost 2000 meetings with citizens: how does the Secretariat of the Commissioner for Missing Persons in Special Circumstances work?
Last week, Artur Dobroserdov was appointed Commissioner for Missing Persons under Special Circumstances.
The main tasks of the Secretariat of the Commissioner are coordination on the search for the missing, ensuring the operation of the relevant Unified Register, as well as providing citizens with extracts from it.
We are committed to helping every family whose loved ones have disappeared because of the war. Launched a Telegram channel with information and a “Hotline” for consultations.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 5,500 applications have been received. Also, representatives of the Commissioner made a personal reception of almost 2000 citizens.
To date, the Unified Register of Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances contains more than 36 thousand entries. We will continue to assist in the process of finding every Ukrainian.
